MyCoverBaby ("BQ — Baby Quarterly") ("we", "us") makes personalized, magazine-style keepsake covers from a photo and a few details you provide. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices — in plain language.
What we collect
- What you give us to make a cover: the photo you upload, and the details you enter — the baby's name, birthday, pronoun, and the style you pick.
- The cover we generate from those (a watermarked preview and a high-resolution file).
- Order information when you buy: your email and, for printed products, your shipping address. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never receive or store your card number.
- Basic technical data (e.g., server logs) needed to run and secure the service.
We store the generated cover (which includes your photo); we don't keep a separate copy of your original upload.
How we use it
- To generate and deliver your cover.
- To process and fulfill your orders, and email you about them (order confirmations, and for printed items, shipping).
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We don't use your photos for advertising or to train AI models, and we don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run BQ, each under their own privacy terms:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google Cloud / Firebase — hosting and storage.
- Resend — sending order emails.
- Our print & shipping process — only for physical orders, to print and mail your item.
How long we keep it
If you don't purchase, we automatically delete your cover — including the photo — about 30 days after it's created. If you buy a cover, we keep it until you ask us to delete it (just email us below), so you can come back and re-download it. We retain payment records for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to access or delete your information at any time by emailing support@mycoverbaby.com.
Children's privacy
BQ is intended for adults creating a keepsake of their own child. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The information here is provided by you, the adult — not by a child.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. The high-resolution, watermark-free file is access-controlled and is not public — it's available only after purchase.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date above.
